I want you to imagine a beautiful and rainy summer morning. Now try to also imagine that you are lost in a city where the street names look foreign to you. No matter which way you walk, you end up even more lost than you were before you took your first step. Every person that you ask for help simply ignores you or sends you off in another direction which only gets you even more lost.
Over 10 hours of the day have been spent desperately searching for a way out of the city. Even though the atmosphere seems to be extraordinary, you seek a way out because you know that you do not belong there. As darkness falls, hunger calls. Your tummy is getting very anxious for food and at the same time your soul is seeking salvation from this lost and perverse city.
As your stomach starts to scream at your soul to settle down to satisfy itself with the chaotic lifestyle that is prevalent in the city; your souls calls out one more time for help. You press forward just a little more…even though you do not see an exit, you continue on. Your body is running on empty, you have not eaten or rested the whole day. However you have this burning sensation that there is hope around the corner.
The night creatures are calling out and the walks of the night are running circles around you; but you are crawling in the gutter trying to stretch yourself to reach the corner in hopes that as soon as you make that turn you will be in a land full of milk and honey. A land where the streets all are safe and secure, you are never lost, you never go hungry, you never seek to find anything because you have everything that you could ever need.
Oh snaps.... you almost reach the corner but you completely run out of gas. You collapsed only 4 feet from safety. Now what? It seems that your only option is too cave in and compromise by allowing this ravinesh city to feed you and give you what your stomach seeks.
Wait a second… all of a sudden this big strong hand reaches down and picks you up and carries you into the promise land. Wow what a relief, a complete stranger that you have never met picks you up out of the gutter and carries you into the land that is safe and secure, full of milk and honey, and full of everything that you need.
Are you wondering why this stranger went through the trouble of laying his own life on the line by entering into this sinful city just to deliver you from it? I am sure you are, because I know I am. So you ask the man his name, why he helped you, and you thank him profusely.
He answers, “My name is Jesus and I love you. I have always loved you, even before you were born; I knew you and knew the amount of hairs that would be on your head. I knew that you were unable to escape that city of recklessness. However, I had to let you see for yourself that no matter how close you came to safety and entering the city full of life, you would never be able to get in on your own strength. Once you fell down on your knees and were ready to give up I reached my hand down to comfort you and lift you out of your troubles. I did this because I love you. Now I ask you to allow me to teach you my ways and show you my way of life. I promise you that I will never leave you or forsake you. I will be with you always and forever if you let me.”
So what will your answer be? Will you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?

The truth is that God has specific laws that we must obey. However we are completely inadequate, on our own strength we will never be able to follow His laws 100% of the time. God being perfect and just, won’t allow any lawbreakers into His Kingdom. So what does He do? God desires nothing more than for mankind to turn to Him and repent of their sins. God came down to Earth and dwelt among mankind, He taught man, and then paid the price for mankind’s sin. God is so great…. He has giving you a way out of this sinful world that will always leave you lost and hungry.
I ask you once again….even as the Holy Spirit is tugging on your heart….to welcome Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It’s really simple. You do not need to be a Christian; you do not need to be well educated or rich. All you have to do is acknowledge that you are a sinner just like me and just like everyone else. The Perfect Word of God (BIBLE) says in Romans 10:9 that “…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that He died for your sins then you are saved.”
My friends I am so excited for you. In fact, the Bible says that the Angels of God rejoice when one sinner repents and turns to God. So please contact me, get into a Bible believing church, and continue to allow Jesus to show you His precious and perfect way of life.
