Why Is It That For Years I Never Gained A Single Pound or An Inch, But Now as Soon as I Open My Mouth, My Belly and Thighs Open Up To?Why Do I
Keep Gaining Weight As Soon As I Open My Mouth? Why is it, that for years I never gained a pound or an inch, but now as soon as I open my mouth to eat anything my stomach fat, my thick thighs and by jiggling arms automatically become super sized? One reason that we start to gain weight is that we eat more calories than we are burning off. Eating a lot of calories is not a bad thing. It just needs to be monitored. Too many people fall into the "let me not eat at ALL, then I should lose weight" category. The problem with that is you don't get ENOUGH calories. In fact you are going into the beginning stages of malnutrition. You see, just like you, your body LOVES to eat. As long as what you eat is healthy and you are adding some workouts in during the week, you should have no problem losing the weight or keeping weight from coming on. I know what you’re thinking...." What should my workout look like?" Good question! Your workout should consist of a 5 minute warm-up. After you have warmed-up you will flow right into 30 minutes of resistance training. I prefer that you do short mini circuits. Basically to do this all you need to do is plan a head of time. Pick 2-4 exercises that you can do with out overworking one muscle. For example you would not want to do squats, lunges, hip raises, and dead lifts. Reason being? You are OVERWORKING that muscle region and you will get seriously injured. What you could do though would be squat, push up, lunge, dip. Now that we have the design theory of the exercises covered we can talk about time or reps and sets. I want you doing 30-45 seconds of each exercise with a 15-30 second rest before you move on to the next exercise. Try to complete the whole circuit up to 5 times. After you have pushed yourself for 30 minutes doing circuit based exercise, you are going to go for the gold with cardio intervals. Cardio intervals are not just hop on the treadmill for 5 minutes and hop off, several times. No, cardio intervals can be explained by following a similar formula to this: 1 minute as fast as you can go, 2 minutes at a much slower stage. Repeat 5-10 times. Total cardiovascular workout: 15-30 minutes.
